Hello friend! So glad you’re here. Welcome to Mindfulness in the Midwest, a blog all about discovering a life filled with mindfulness by exploring the connections between health, wellness, self-care, style, different forms of art, faith, and your relationships with others. Come with me on my journey to discover my most mindful, happiest life!
We all know life isn’t perfect, but that’s okay because that’s not what I’m into. (I tried that a couple times and it didn’t work out very well.) What I am into is living a mindful-filled life, embracing the everyday moments, and celebrating what makes you, you!
Mindfulness is all about embracing the moment, no matter what moment you’re currently in and making the most of it. I believe we spend too much of our lives wishing for the next moment, the next “big thing.” It’s all about maintaining an awareness of our thoughts, feelings, sensations, and the surrounding environment. Practicing mindfulness involves accepting what is now, paying attention to the thoughts and feelings with no judgment.
So what do you say, friends? Breathe in, breathe out and celebrate the beauty of now, where you are right here in this moment!
Let me introduce myself!
